So this is the full cover image in finished pencils. It features the main cast and a handful of the more interesting looking villains.
Ideally I'd like to make this a triple gatefold, but I might break it into three separate covers that you can join together.
I've only been doing a little bit at a time, which is why it's taken so long to complete.

Contrary to popular belief, you can't find Crusaders in your local comic book store yet. As you can probably tell by most of my gallery, I don't have an inker or colorist to work with. I've toyed around with the idea of auditioning people to do it, but I've found that unless you can sell a person on the entire concept, people lose enthusiasm very quickly.
Add to that the need for a proper letterer and editor, and a regular script writer (because I only have ideas and plot taken care of, nothing is set in stone except the concepts) and you can see how far Crusaders is from publication.
Some day, though. I want to hit the ground hard with a full pitch and team some day and take the industry by storm. But like most dreams, the day that happens seems distant. Although less so the more I work.
The official word is that Crusaders is a dream project. I'm still exploring avenues of self-publication and searching for committed collaborators. Some day it will happen, and I will devote myself to making nothing short of a kick-ass comic.
